Slowly heading to your purpose

'She went out and decided to pray in tongues as walking. It was not the first time she has done it and today once again the Lord led her to only pray in His language. So she was praying not aloud though but she prayed. As she approached the robot, she heard a voice calling her ' Tabitha' it was a gentle voice. She knew it was Her Lord and Master.'

This was my day on Friday, I never had such an experience with the Lord before. I had friends and even mothers in the Lord that told me not to call them by their names but by the ones God gave them. I never doubted their judgment, but I always wondered how God could call someone by another name? Name that you did not received from your parents.

He called me 'Tabitha' and I was asking Him why Lord why Tabitha. Personally and for those who know me, I love so much Esther. If you asked me, what was my favorite book in the Bible before, I would say without hesitation Esther. I just loved the similitude she has with Jesus. I loved the fact she renonced to all to save her people.

When I got home, the first thing I did was to found out the story of Tabitha in the Word. I found it in Acts 9:36-42. I told myself ' She was a great woman of God but I still prefer Esther'. You see, God will never make to you obvious His things. I mean we need to look for the revelation to understand the purpose of His Will for our lives.

I thank the Lord that now I know why He called and calls me ' Tabitha'. I mean as I was writting this post He just called me and I smiled. This name is linked to my calling. He is leading me slowly but surely into it.

Maybe you think ' God is still calling me by my name', look my story is not the Gospel. God reveals to us in a different way what matters is the purpose of your life and you achieving it for His Glory.

I pray that you discover the purpose for which you were created and that with His Grace walk into it in Jesus name.

Much Love

Tabitha Joy

Ladies, do not compromise

Hello, LWM! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did by the Grace of God. Today, I would like to encourage us to stay firm in our faith. I had a chat with a friend of mine over the weekend and we were discussing about who we must marry. It was going nowhere because the person believed that she could still date an unbeliever and still be in the Will of God. I did give her the scriptures which clearly showed that God would not allow such a relationship but it was a waste of time. I am believing God that He will convince her to accept this truth. Ladies, I would like to encourage us to stay firm and not compromise our faith in Christ. We cannot play with our life this way. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, so we better be careful when it comes to choose our partner for life. I was saying to the person that I understood her view but I did not support it. I understood the fact that she said " what if I fell in love with an unbeliever?, Am I sinning?". I have been there. I ...

Ladies, are you really ready for marriage? Preaching video

Hello, wonderful ladies in Christ! I would like to share with you a video by Lady Reverend Adelaide Heward- Mills. In this preaching, she talks about marriage. As ladies, we naturally think about marriage but as Christian women we should be aware of what we need to make our future marriage to work. I love saying that many of us only think of the wedding, the actual day where we will be sharing your vows but we do not think of the life after the wedding, and I know many young ladies that got married, were happy and now are struggling in their marriages because they did not prepare themselves. I thank the Lord that there is such a message available. I am not married for now but I know now that I need to prepare myself fully before I get married. I will advise you to do the same and remember God should be the foundation of your future marriage and your relationship if you have a beloved( a person you are dating and are going to marry soon).    Much love   Lala. ...

Appearance: I do not love myself!

Have you ever looked yourself in the mirror and appreciate the person you see? Have you ever thought you were not beautiful enough, nor pretty enough? Do you love yourself? Do you love your body? The way you move? If not, then continue to read may the Spirit open your eyes to let you see the beautiful person you are in Jesus Name! Hello precious! Today, I am going to share with you about self-love. How sad it is to see many women comparing themselves to other women! It breaks my heart every time I hear a lady saying 'I just want to be like her', or 'If only I was her'. Have you ever thought this way?  I think we all have...but the good news is you can decide to choose this way of thinking. You are unique. No one on earth can smile like you, can talk like you, can act like you, you are a very peculiar person, and God has no more stock of you in heaven, this should make you think twice.  When I was a teenager, I used to compare myself to my little sister...
