Slowly heading to your purpose

'She went out and decided to pray in tongues as walking. It was not the first time she has done it and today once again the Lord led her to only pray in His language. So she was praying not aloud though but she prayed. As she approached the robot, she heard a voice calling her ' Tabitha' it was a gentle voice. She knew it was Her Lord and Master.'

This was my day on Friday, I never had such an experience with the Lord before. I had friends and even mothers in the Lord that told me not to call them by their names but by the ones God gave them. I never doubted their judgment, but I always wondered how God could call someone by another name? Name that you did not received from your parents.

He called me 'Tabitha' and I was asking Him why Lord why Tabitha. Personally and for those who know me, I love so much Esther. If you asked me, what was my favorite book in the Bible before, I would say without hesitation Esther. I just loved the similitude she has with Jesus. I loved the fact she renonced to all to save her people.

When I got home, the first thing I did was to found out the story of Tabitha in the Word. I found it in Acts 9:36-42. I told myself ' She was a great woman of God but I still prefer Esther'. You see, God will never make to you obvious His things. I mean we need to look for the revelation to understand the purpose of His Will for our lives.

I thank the Lord that now I know why He called and calls me ' Tabitha'. I mean as I was writting this post He just called me and I smiled. This name is linked to my calling. He is leading me slowly but surely into it.

Maybe you think ' God is still calling me by my name', look my story is not the Gospel. God reveals to us in a different way what matters is the purpose of your life and you achieving it for His Glory.

I pray that you discover the purpose for which you were created and that with His Grace walk into it in Jesus name.

Much Love

Tabitha Joy

Ladies, do not compromise

Hello, LWM! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did by the Grace of God. Today, I would like to encourage us to stay firm in our faith. I had a chat with a friend of mine over the weekend and we were discussing about who we must marry. It was going nowhere because the person believed that she could still date an unbeliever and still be in the Will of God. I did give her the scriptures which clearly showed that God would not allow such a relationship but it was a waste of time. I am believing God that He will convince her to accept this truth. Ladies, I would like to encourage us to stay firm and not compromise our faith in Christ. We cannot play with our life this way. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, so we better be careful when it comes to choose our partner for life. I was saying to the person that I understood her view but I did not support it. I understood the fact that she said " what if I fell in love with an unbeliever?, Am I sinning?". I have been there. I ...

My test of Relationship

Have you found yourself once in a situation whereby you had to stay home by force? Have you found yourself in a situation whereby you could not go to church anymore? Have you found yourself in a situation where you had to pray and have your church service at home? This has been my case for about one full week. My country was going under some political tensions and because of that no one dared go out. In fact, the ones who attempted to do that were killed and hurt, so it was wise for the population to stay home. It was a scary moment but in this period, God tested my relationship with Him. I can describe myself as a regular church member. I am always at church services, during conferences and so on. I can never missed out a service. If I am not around, it means something happened and I could not come. I recalled of a leader who said during a service' there will be a time where we would not be able to come to church so we have to mature as Christian and learn to pray on our o...

Ladies, are you really ready for marriage? Preaching video

Hello, wonderful ladies in Christ! I would like to share with you a video by Lady Reverend Adelaide Heward- Mills. In this preaching, she talks about marriage. As ladies, we naturally think about marriage but as Christian women we should be aware of what we need to make our future marriage to work. I love saying that many of us only think of the wedding, the actual day where we will be sharing your vows but we do not think of the life after the wedding, and I know many young ladies that got married, were happy and now are struggling in their marriages because they did not prepare themselves. I thank the Lord that there is such a message available. I am not married for now but I know now that I need to prepare myself fully before I get married. I will advise you to do the same and remember God should be the foundation of your future marriage and your relationship if you have a beloved( a person you are dating and are going to marry soon).    Much love   Lala. ...
