Appearance: I do not love myself!

Have you ever looked yourself in the mirror and appreciate the person you see? Have you ever thought you were not beautiful enough, nor pretty enough? Do you love yourself? Do you love your body? The way you move? If not, then continue to read may the Spirit open your eyes to let you see the beautiful person you are in Jesus Name!

Hello precious! Today, I am going to share with you about self-love. How sad it is to see many women comparing themselves to other women! It breaks my heart every time I hear a lady saying 'I just want to be like her', or 'If only I was her'. Have you ever thought this way? 

I think we all have...but the good news is you can decide to choose this way of thinking.

You are unique. No one on earth can smile like you, can talk like you, can act like you, you are a very peculiar person, and God has no more stock of you in heaven, this should make you think twice. 
When I was a teenager, I used to compare myself to my little sister. I thought she was more beautiful than I, I wanted to just be like her, do I need to tell you that this jealousy made impossible for us to develop a close relationship as sisters. I was so consumed with envy and jealousy that instead of becoming her best friend I became a stranger to her.....

One day, God made me sit down and told me to look myself in a mirror, completely naked. It was a terrible exercise for me, because I never liked my body especially my toes which looked for me as lumberjack toes (sorry for that, but I used to think this way). God told me "Take a deep breath and look at you". As I started to look intensively at my reflection in the mirror, I began to cry, I began to realize how unique I was, How beautiful I was then this verse came up in my mind :

Psalm 139:14 New International Version (NIV)

14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.


Be assured. You are a great person and beautiful inside out. Everytime you say 'I want to be like this person' you are saying to God 'You did a mistake by creating me this way'. Do not get me twisted, this does not concern those who were born with some difficulties, I believe that our God is a good God and He knows only to make things beautiful. 

Today, I want you to know that you cannot truly love God if you do not love yourself at first. The Word says 'How can you love someone you do not see while you struggle to love your neighbor you see?" Loving God will be possible once you love yourself. And this goes even further for how can you love your neighbor if you do not love yourself? 

All begins with you. If you do not love yourself, start to do so. God use a mirror to make me realize how beautiful I was. I pray this article may be a mirror to you, I pray that God use something to make you realize your worth! 

From now, say with me 'I will never compare myself to someone else".
You can admire another woman, be not wish to be her for your purposes in life differ. God created you to fulfill a particular mission so there's no reason to wish to be someone else.

Be you, be the better you in Jesus Name!

The right attitude for Valentine's Day...

Good day beautiful ladies! It has been years but I am around, I have been lately busy with organising my new season!!!!! I am more than excited of what God is doing now and I shall at the right time tell you more about this.
