Ladies, as you wait before the Lord

Hello wonderful ladies of God, I want to believe God that you are all well in Him, for those who are going through some challenges I want you to keep believing in Him. God is faithful at all times, hold on there, keep praying and confessing He is faithful and as you do so I see you receiving what God promised to you in Jesus Name.

Today, I want to share about the attitude we should have as we wait upon the Lord looking at Saul as a case study. The verse we will look at is found in 1 Samuel 13: 11 And Samuel said What have you done? Saul said When I saw that the people were scatterred from me, and that you did not come within the days qppointed, and that the philisitines gathered together at Mismash 12 then I said the philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the Lord. Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering. Amen! The Word of GOD shows us how it is to not trust in Him and to lack of patience.

Saul was appointed king over Israel, during those times before going into a battle, the King would consult God to know what to do. Ladies do you consult God before taking any action or do you just do what you feel like doing without inquiring from the Lord... Samuel who was the prophet during that time promised Saul to return to him after 7 days but as the days were passing by, the atmoshpere around Saul start moving. People starting to withdraw from him, people starting to abandon him; Saul who was a king felt like nothing like a king. When you are a king, people should follow you, people should stick to you no matter what....but people desert the king. Ladies, people desert Saul.

Saul became worried when he saw this, he looked at the position of the philisitnes and here they were ready to soon come against him but how can i go and fight with them without appealing before God? Ladies, maybe God promised you something but up to now there is nothing you can see. Samuel promised to Saul that he will come after 7 days but as Saul waited, things started to move and his faith shook: what do you do when things start to shake?
We can blame Saul for his behaviour but at a point of time we just behave like him.

  • we are like saul when things start to move around us and that we forget how faithful God is.
  • We are like Saul when, we give to God a timeframe. Samuel said he will return after 7 days, but the seventh day was not even finished that Saul burnt the offerings. We have to learn that our time is not God' time. God' time is perfect! Learn to wait for the perfect time of GOD.
  • Like Saul, we stop trusting  Christ when people desert us. How do you behave when God promised you something and people do not believe in you. When God told you you will marry and instead of you receiving some proposals no one is even looking at you...!! Do you go and look for your man yourself or do you decide to wait upon Him? What do you do when God told you you are a pastor but then people do not even beleive in your ministry, they criticize you, do you reject your identity and become someone you are not so people will follow you....the privilege to burn the offering was given only to sacrificator to the priest of God, Saul was not a priest. He was just a king. as you wait upon God's promise you must continue to operate in your calling, in your identity.
Ladies, the attitude you choose to adopt during your time of tribulation, as you wait upon Christ will determine the goodness of your blessing. The Bible tells us that if only Saul would have been obedient, his reign over Israel would have forever but because he disobeyed God shorten it(verse13). God can shorten the time of your ministry if you refuse to obey to Him. You will only shine for a certain time after what He will cut you off. Choose not to follow this path. Your lack of patience can lead you to disobey Christ. Pray for Grace to be patient at all times. Patience is a fruit of the Spirit(Galatians 5:22). Desire to be patient, pray for it continually. As you wait for what God promised to you, constantly remind yourself about who God is. God is not a liar. I see you enjoying Christ promises for your life, your ministry, your marriage, your studies, your family as you wait patiently for Him in obedience in Jesus Name.

With much love,

Lala.

Ladies, do not compromise

Hello, LWM! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did by the Grace of God. Today, I would like to encourage us to stay firm in our faith. I had a chat with a friend of mine over the weekend and we were discussing about who we must marry. It was going nowhere because the person believed that she could still date an unbeliever and still be in the Will of God. I did give her the scriptures which clearly showed that God would not allow such a relationship but it was a waste of time. I am believing God that He will convince her to accept this truth. Ladies, I would like to encourage us to stay firm and not compromise our faith in Christ. We cannot play with our life this way. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, so we better be careful when it comes to choose our partner for life. I was saying to the person that I understood her view but I did not support it. I understood the fact that she said " what if I fell in love with an unbeliever?, Am I sinning?". I have been there. I ...

Ladies, are you really ready for marriage? Preaching video

Hello, wonderful ladies in Christ! I would like to share with you a video by Lady Reverend Adelaide Heward- Mills. In this preaching, she talks about marriage. As ladies, we naturally think about marriage but as Christian women we should be aware of what we need to make our future marriage to work. I love saying that many of us only think of the wedding, the actual day where we will be sharing your vows but we do not think of the life after the wedding, and I know many young ladies that got married, were happy and now are struggling in their marriages because they did not prepare themselves. I thank the Lord that there is such a message available. I am not married for now but I know now that I need to prepare myself fully before I get married. I will advise you to do the same and remember God should be the foundation of your future marriage and your relationship if you have a beloved( a person you are dating and are going to marry soon).    Much love   Lala. ...
