My value of friendship

As a christian lady, I believe that friendship is a gift that comes from God. When we look at the book of Genesis, we will see that God said that it was not good for a man to be alone. Men are not meant to live alone, or isolated because we need people to talk to, we need to relate to someone. Friendship is so important to me. My close friends are people who share the same values as me, they are people who love God and love me. They are people I can count on when I am going through tough times and who will give me good advices. I believe that my friends are people God sent to my life. This is why I value them so much, and I thank God every day for their presence in my life.

I do not know who I will be without my friends, I do not know where I will be without them. Do not neglect the friends God sent to your life. Another thing is do not be the type of friend who want to be on top and enjoy seeing their friends struggling in life, you will not be a good friend for them. A good friend will encourage his/friend to work harder and to believe in himself/herself. My bishop Dag Heward Mills wrote "it is important not to go to the top alone. When you are the only one at the top, you are surrounded by desperate people. They are dangerous and can harm you at any time. They will try to pull you down to their level of frustration. However, if you are all at the top, they can only pull you sideways".

Do not put your friends in a situation when they become jealous of you or envy you because you success in every thing you do, be that friend who encourage them, if you know something they do not, teach them. Do not feel proud! My friends are so important to me, and I do my best to always be there for them, and to encourage them when they have lost hope, and they do the same for me. If you do not have such friends, then I do not know if you know what friendship is or if you are a good friend yourself........Friendship is a gift from God and we should learn to be thankful for the friends we have in our lives. Stay blessed, ladies.

Much love. Lala.

Appearance: I do not love myself!

Have you ever looked yourself in the mirror and appreciate the person you see? Have you ever thought you were not beautiful enough, nor pretty enough? Do you love yourself? Do you love your body? The way you move? If not, then continue to read may the Spirit open your eyes to let you see the beautiful person you are in Jesus Name! Hello precious! Today, I am going to share with you about self-love. How sad it is to see many women comparing themselves to other women! It breaks my heart every time I hear a lady saying 'I just want to be like her', or 'If only I was her'. Have you ever thought this way?  I think we all have...but the good news is you can decide to choose this way of thinking. You are unique. No one on earth can smile like you, can talk like you, can act like you, you are a very peculiar person, and God has no more stock of you in heaven, this should make you think twice.  When I was a teenager, I used to compare myself to my little sister...

Ladies, do not compromise

Hello, LWM! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I did by the Grace of God. Today, I would like to encourage us to stay firm in our faith. I had a chat with a friend of mine over the weekend and we were discussing about who we must marry. It was going nowhere because the person believed that she could still date an unbeliever and still be in the Will of God. I did give her the scriptures which clearly showed that God would not allow such a relationship but it was a waste of time. I am believing God that He will convince her to accept this truth. Ladies, I would like to encourage us to stay firm and not compromise our faith in Christ. We cannot play with our life this way. Marriage is a lifetime commitment, so we better be careful when it comes to choose our partner for life. I was saying to the person that I understood her view but I did not support it. I understood the fact that she said " what if I fell in love with an unbeliever?, Am I sinning?". I have been there. I ...

The best is yet to come! Appointment at the top!

Will I survive from this? Will I recover ? Will I smile again ?             So many questions, we asks ourselves after a sad event. It may be the loss of someone, a breakup, a disease, unemployment, well after a bad case we often tend to reconsider everything in our lives. If you are at this stage, know you are not alone. Many people like you have gone through this or actually are going through this.             I love the Word of God because it talks about many situations we can relate to. As it says, nothing new is before the sun, everything that is have already been, and what will be is already. So is this situation you are going through...Do you remember the story of Naomi in Judges?                The Word says that after loosing her husband and her sons, she became bitter....
