My value of friendship As a christian lady, I believe that friendship is a gift that comes from God. When we look at the book of Genesis, we will see that God said that it was not good for a man to be alone. Men are not meant to live alone, or isolated because we need people to talk to, we need to relate to someone. Friendship is so important to me. My close friends are people who share the same values as me, they are people who love God and love me. They are people I can count on when I am going through tough times and who will give me good advices. I believe that my friends are people God sent to my life. Well at first I wanted to speak about things happening in my country, which is Gabon in my blog, but after asking myself if this will be good for me, I realized that I could choose to talk about more easier subjects, things that will involve the lady I am. Last week on the 14th of February, people around the world and especially love couples were celebrating Valentine's day. Many received love gifts from their husbands, wives, boy/girlfriends. It was nice for them to see couples holdhing hands and sharing a kiss to show how deeply in love they are. Most of my close friends are either in a relationships, engaged or even married. So to enjoy this day for me as a single young lady was a bit hard. I was not deseparate because in my heart I know I have the best Valentine ever, yes my Jesus ( it sounds creepy fo you, but this is the truth for me) but still spend it with someone on my side would have brighten more my day.
